How To Grow And Earn From Your YouTube Channel?

When you have a dance channel on YouTube, it is very difficult to grow and monetize the dance channel. When a person starts a YouTube channel, of course, one of the reasons she does it is because to share her passions with the world.

And when you're dancing, you are full of movement, rhythm, joy, and there's happiness. And you put out the video, and maybe you get 100 views, maybe you get 1,000 views. Maybe you get 10,000 or a million views. And suddenly you think, okay, now I'm getting some traction.

Maybe I could monetize my channel, and then there will be some money at the end of it through passion, which is a beautiful thing. And that is the best use case of the internet.

That is why the internet and the YouTube have entered in the first place. And that's why we are eager to showcase our talent. Basically, we are mortgaging our skills to the YouTube for free and for the world to use it, entertain themselves for free with the dance videos.

But there's a particular issue with the dance video. You can only dance on a song. And of course, you can choose a random song which is copyright free from 70 years ago, but you're not listening to them, right?

You generally dance with the song which you're generally listening to. So it will be of your era, or maybe 30, 20, 40 years earlier. Guess what? All of those songs are copyright protected. And although dancing on the song is considered to be fair use, it depends upon the judgment of a judge.

But it's generally fair use because you are not promoting the song. You're promoting your dance through the song because dance cannot be without song, right? However, the music companies know that, but still, they will copyright claim all your videos and take all your money if you monetize. So how do you as a dance channel grow on YouTube?

So what has many dance channels people have done is they upload a dance video, let the music holistics take all the money from your dance video. It doesn't matter if your dance video has millions of views, doesn't matter. And what they do, they then make another video without the song, just with the counting and showcase the choreography.

And of course, it's boring, but that is how you earn as a dance creator on the YouTube. And it works for a while. However, what I think the best way to earn as a dance creator, if you get a significant amount of views and traction and fans, is to take those audiences and sell something. Maybe a live showcase of your dance, maybe an interaction, okay? That will earn you more and leverage your time and skill more. And this is the biggest learning if you are trying to start a channel. It doesn't matter what kind of channel you're going to start on YouTube. It can be dance or another channel.

I have showcased you the problems with the dance channel. However, if you are starting any channel on YouTube, then you will eventually reach a stage where you will monetize and you will earn money. And of course, if you have 100 millions of views, the money from YouTube will be significant.

However, many of the people who maybe get 10,000, maybe 100,000, maybe 100,000 views per month, the amount of money you earn from the YouTube ads would not be significant.

However, because of a relationship with the audience, if you develop that, if you can somehow convert that, maybe taking them off the platform, maybe doing live events, gigs, or asking them to support you through Patreon. that kind of money will be much more significant.

So this is a very valuable tip if you're starting a dance channel on YouTube, you're not going to earn money from your dance videos. And perhaps if you're starting another niche channel on YouTube, your most revenue might not come from your YouTube videos.

But that is the process, get those fans and then convert them later at a different tier and a different offering you have to offer. Now go create your art.
